DeleteTask 2. I have decided to make a teacher blog .
I have changed my blog and it is http://stelatagadiuc.weebly.com
DeleteI have changed my blog and it is http://stelatagadiuc.weebly.com
DeleteGreat start, Stela! So far your blog has a promising beginning - it is well organised and easy to navigate. Now you need to add various tasks and involve your students. One more very important thing - before adding text, do not forget to check it for small spelling or grammar errors. Good luck!
DeleteThis is my first experience, i really enjoyed it, this is only the beginin, i'll try to make it better....
ReplyDeleteThank you......
http://dariajelihovschii.weebly.com/
Diana,
DeleteThis is really good for a first timer :) Each week we will teach you a different online tool that can be added to your blog, then your students will start posting their homework and questions online, so that by the end of the project your blog will look like a professional online teaching portfolio. Good luck improving your very first blog!
I am already captured by the idea of blogging!! Though my priority should be a completely different thing, I keep thinking about it even at night. Ladies, you’ve made a great impact on my life perception)))
ReplyDeleteNow about the assignment: it’s absolutely understandable, easily readable and well structured. So, keep doing like that and, I hope, by the end of this project we won’t put your face to shame. Thank you for this great opportunity to grow as a modern teacher and a simple 21st century person))
For now I have just one question: is it ok that i created a blog that has nothing to do with teaching as my first trial. I'll start a "serious" blog soon, so hope I didn't much step away from the rules. Sorry if i did.
ReplyDeleteMaria, it is up to you to experiment with different types of blogs - just make sure double work will not be too time-consuming for you :)
DeleteI wouls still suggest you start a teaching blog, then add information step by step - at this moment we are just at the initial stage, when you learn, experiment, post, delete, edit, etc. so no one will judge your work at this stage. Feel free to get inspired from the blogs listed in Task 1 and choose your own format. Good luck!
Hello, Daniela)) Have just read your reply. and, the way it usually happens to me), have two questions: have you visited the blog i created 'cause I can't find my comments including the link to it, though I clearly remember i posted it. If not: here it is: http://smileschangetheworld.weebly.com/
DeleteCan't i start a class blog instead of teaching one. I have recently visited a cute one and want to creat my own similar to that.
Hello again! This is my class blog link:http://mariaterziclassblog.weebly.com/
DeleteAs soon as I start my Access classes, the first thing i'll do is teaching kids how to create their blogs or at least how to leave comments on my assignments. When they have created own blogs i'll be able to post their blog links to have access to their homework and post my feedback on 'My feedback' page. Exciting))
Task1: I likeI all of them but the most I like:
ReplyDelete1.The Florentina Berlan’s blog
2.The Edutech for Teachers blog
These blogs teaches us how to use the moder methods in our classes.
Task 2: I tried to create a teacher blog hpp//literatureismylife.weebly.com.
I like to be a modern teacher and I want to use new methods at my lessons
Dina,

hpp://literatureismylife.weebly.com
DeleteBut now ???
Dina, your link is not working - it might be missing some letters. Copy paste it again. For example, it could look like this:
Deletehttp://eflbloggingschoolmoldova2.blogspot.md/
http://eflbloggingmoldova.weebly.com/
Task 1. Of course, all the blogs serve me a tool for further work, but, the 2 I like the most are: http://tlcteach.edublogs.org/ and http://www.pointviewschoolroom3.blogspot.md/ as they offer a variety of tools/sites/models of using and samples of activities I could get inspired of.
ReplyDeleteTask 2: I tend to create a class blog, in order to involve my students commenting, giving reasons on different quotations, shows etc, post their homework on the blog, study and work on civilization of English speaking countries.... . It will also be a good opportunity for parents and school administration to view the work of their children/students.
Task 3: the link of the blog is: http://englishandwe.weebly.com/
Eugenia - your first blog looks great! Each week we will teach you a different online tool that can be added to your blog, then your students will start posting their homework and questions online, so that by the end of the project your blog will look like a professional online teaching portfolio. Good luck improving your very first blog!
DeleteI realy like all of them......because I understand how much work was put in their creation, but the task needs to be done, so my Top-2:
ReplyDelete1st Maria Menezes’ blog
2nd Edutech for Teachers blog
I doubt that these blogs were created totaly for free......they just too beatiful. Both of them have a great educational value.
I would like to borrow author's patience )))))))
if speaking seriously...... the way in wich they organised their blogs and style. I wish to have their creativity.
this is my blog.....http://englifemoldova.weebly.com/
Xenia, your blog looks fantastic! Each week we will teach you a different online tool that can be added to your blog, then your students will start posting their homework and questions online, so that by the end of the project your blog will look like a professional online teaching portfolio.
DeleteWe have 6 months to turn your blog into a professional online teaching tool, so do not worry about time and patience at this moment. Just enjoy exploring new tools!
Task 1: I like most:
ReplyDelete1) The English Blog http://jeffreyhill.typepad.com/english/#.U8j1g_mSzwo (I find this blog as a wonderful teaching tool. It attracted my attention especially through the rich collection of ideas: videos as role-plays, animations, cartoons, techniques, resources. We could borrow useful tips like the efficient descriptions and advices bellow the presentation.)
and
2) Edutech for Teachers blog http://edutech4teachers.edublogs.org/ (I like the way the things are posted because they seem interactive. All the tips are interesting and we could borrow the idea to add a little of fun in teaching).

I try to use innovations during my lessons. That's why these blogs are like encyclopedia for my work. They contain a rich variey of tools, examples, texts ets that can be used at the lesson.
However I would like to mention the creativity of http://povestindmatematica.ro/ blog. I practice storytelling with my little daughter and I see how raises her interest while listening. It is a good modality to transform the dificult aspects from learning English into such an interesting way.
Task 2
I would like to create a school blog, including the sections - My works, Students' work, Extra-school activities, Assignments; World of Posters and Collages
I want to do something for myself, for my students and ofcourse something for my school. This blog will show the activity of our school. As many parents are abroad, they will have the posibility to check to propose to be involved in any activities from our school.

ReplyDeleteThe 2 blogs that I liked the best from which you proposed are: Florentina Berlan’s blog and Edutech for Teachers blog, because they are full of colourfull pictures and interesting stories for children and not only. Besides the work, all of us are inside a little child that believes in Prince and Princess and in other personages from books. The Edutech for Teachers includes a lot of information, articles, videos, pictures, games and other innovative tools that I enjoyed.
2) I want to create an e-portfolio to collect and organize my materials and results. My e-portfolio will include the following: about me information, my best coursework, my extra-curricular activities, videos, photos...

ReplyDelete1. The Cougar News Blog http://cougarnewsblog.com/ - I like this blog because here there are a lot of interesting topics and a beautiful design. It could be recommended to teachers of science, maths; I appreciate the library compartment because unfortunately we haven’t English books in our school library, so I think it’s very useful. Also here we can find information on very different topics like: health, trips, dances, art. As my hobby is knitting, I find quite helpful to read about it.
2. Edutech for Teachers http://edutech4teachers.edublogs.org/category/edu-fun-friday/ I like the way this blog is organized, the informations are posted in each month, here the students may take some ideas for writing an essay. “10 Rules for Your School’s Computer Lab” , it’s an amazing way to remember the rules. Also this blog allow us to see how many visitors are in a year.
Great choice! Both blogs are great resources we could borrow a lot of useful tips from. I can't wait to see you blog!

Hello, I really like all these blogs. They are very interesting and they all have different tasks. I enjoy Maths blog full of fairy tales. I also enjoyed English blogs full of different ideas for students and not onlyfor them :) The most interesting I found The English Blog full of a lot of interesting videos such as: Ad of the Day: Imagine the Possibilities (Barbie).
ReplyDeleteYou asked me about the blog I would like to create. I'll do one School blog (at the beginning), and later I'll do blogs for each class and one Teacher's blog (e-portfolio).
Maria, how about connecting all blogs on one platform? Just a suggestion :)
DeleteLet's try. It will be a new area in my English teaching. But I'll need your help how to perform it, to do it nicer, more interesting, knowledgible and up to date for students. So, I'll try to do it ;)

DeleteTask 1:
ReplyDeleteI liked all of the blogs, but these two are my favorite: "Edu-fun Friday" and "Edutech for Teachers blog".
These blogs provided a great number of online tools, as the blog author wrote, for the 21st century classroom. Additionally, the posted links and resources can be easily integrated into the English classroom.
I am and a teacher of History too. I liked the LIFE "Photo Archive" and I think these resources will be valuable classroom tools in my history lessons as well.

Maria, thank you for such a detailed answer! I am glad you found so many interesting tips in the blogs included in Assignment 1. Good luck exploring the amazing world of blogs!
ReplyDeleteDear All,
ReplyDeleteAfter a detailed analysis of these blogs, I set up the list of my favourite ones:
1. Maria Menezes' blog
2. The English blog
3. Kalinago English blog
These blogs are very dynamic and colorful. They catch the visitors' eye and involve them in many interesting news and activities. The language is very friendly and it is very easy to look for needed information.
Natalia, you are right, each blog has its own interesting resources we could explore. I hope they will inspire you to create a wonderful EFL teaching blog by the end of the project.
DeleteI like all of them but the most I like the first and the tenth.
ReplyDelete1.The Florentina Berlan’s blog
2.The Edutech for Teachers blog
These blogs teaches us how to use the moder methods in our classes.
Dina, great blogs, indeed. We are looking forward to seeing your blog.

ReplyDeleteAll the blogs are very interesting but i enjoyed very much the Maria Menezes’ blog and Kalinago’s English blog because they used a lot of interactive, actual and accessible videos, that we can choose during our classes.
Great start, Olesea - I hope you will borrow all these useful tips for your blog.
DeleteI like all the blogs because of their individual voices. These patterns help me to create my own voice. The blogs reflect personalities and who they are. The blog posts are conversational.Their unique voices make the blogs personable and interesting. All bloggers share their passions with the world.
ReplyDeleteAurelia,
DeleteYou are right, each blog has its own interesting resources we could explore. I hope they will inspire you to create a wonderful EFL teaching blog by the end of the project.
The listed blogs are different, but I was interested to see details. For teaching purpose I would like to use educational fairy tales on the http://povestindmatematica.ro/ , animated pages of English conversational topics on the http://jeffreyhill.typepad.com/, different level materials and tools on the http://edutech4teachers.edublogs.org.

For my self ,I thing that all the posted blogs are useful and interesting ,but if we speak about english teaching I think that the most useful will be http://kalinago.blogspot.com/search/label/teaching-english and http://edutech4teachers.edublogs.org/ these blogs can be used like teaching tools and we can borrow from them a lot of ideas to to plan our lessons and class activities in order to be more attractive for the students.I would like to have a personal blog and my sections will be maybe about me ,students'homework, students' porfolio ,extraccuricular activities ,textbook materials...I designed my first blog and I thik that after 6 months I will ook better than now.http://tatianasclifos.weebly.com/
ReplyDeleteTatiana,
DeleteGreat start! Assignment 2 will help you post various interesting videos and PDF materials on your blog, so good luck improving your website.
Hi, I have another blog
ReplyDeletehttp://havefunwiththeseasons.weebly.com/
I think it will work?
Dina,
DeleteGreat start! Assignment 2 will help you post various interesting videos and PDF materials on your blog, so good luck improving your website.
I’ve just had a look at all blog examples you offered. I liked them all very much!!!
ReplyDeleteIt’s very hard to choose one type (I want them all!!). Though, probably, I’d pick class blog for I tend to create a platform for posting online assignments for students (Ss) and perform evaluation and get their feedback. At the same time I’d like to have a personal blog (Teacher blog), too. I see now it’s a great thing for storing all achievements you’ve gained in one single place and presents an excellent way of keeping structured all stuff one needs for a portfolio (lesson plans, certificates, CV, projects, articles etc).
So I wonder if there is a possibility of creating one blog combining the two types mentioned above. If not, I’ll create two. As an Access teacher I will definitely need a class blog, which will possibly have a private section called something like “My e-portfolio” .
In the class blog I’m planning to post:
• Assignments for Ss (plus my feedback)
• Their best works
• Interesting online sources and tools to enhance Ss’ skills and involve them into class participation
• Class photos and videos
My personal blog section (if it’s possible to have one within the class blog) might include:
• My lesson plans
• My CV
• My photos and videos
• My projects
I’d like to have opportunity to share info with colleagues, therefore they will have access to this section (if It’s possible. If not, it will be another blog). All this might serve as an online portfolio for school administration and become an essential aid for defending my master degree as well. And, in case I decide to get the first didactic degree, the whole blog could also be helpful.
My first blog which, unfortunately, doesnt have anythind to do with teaching. But since you said it might be free, i deecided just to take a bit of exercise of what options weebly provides for blog creation. And as a result, here what I got (do ot gudge too severe, plaese):

DeleteHello, everyone! Every day I convince myself more and more about the opportunities this project brings us as teachers. It’s incredible how easy and comfortable our work can become. Here are the answers:
ReplyDelete1. The two blogs I like the most are Edutech for teachers (http://edutech4teachers.edublogs.org/) and The English Blog (http://jeffreyhill.typepad.com/english/#.Vh6qjPntmkp). Also I would like to mention The Life Feast Blog (http://lifefeast.blogspot.com.br/). Here are concentrated great resources for teaching. It can help the teacher who keeps a similar blog to organize his “files”, to share them with other teachers and, why not, to check the impact of these resources for the others. It helps a lot and motivates for a permanent development, for trying something new and interesting, something that will keep in touch with our students more and more.
2. I want to create a teacher blog, named Teaching Duties. It will include sections like : Home (my CV, my students), Activity (my best projects, my videos and photos, extracurricular activity), Resources (digital resources, worksheets, grammar rules etc.).
The purpose of this blog will be to share interesting resources with students and teachers, encouraging them to use these resources; to publish students’ and my best activity.
3. Here is my first step. http://galinamadam.weebly.com/
Galina, your first blog looks good! You will have 5 more months to turn your blog into a complex, sophisticated online teaching portfolio, so enjoy becoming an EFL blogging expert!

3.My public lesson plans/Materials
4.Evaluation of public lessons
5 Reading materials
6.Materials for commentaries
7.My pictures
8.My Videos
